12:47 pm: Pints held high, friends held higher.
Ah what a wonderful time downtown last night, so many emotions that it can not be documented in just one entry. Let me just say that running into so many people lead to either a great hug or a dirty look, and sometimes it was just a quick contact with the eyes that said hello with a friendly tone.

So basically it all started with Chris, Brent and I up at Bar-B-Q bar chatting it up and drinking the hell out of some pints. Brent and I decide to hit up the Lodge since Chris was "working" on a lady. So the Lodge is always a good time thanks to Bradley and Aaron who hook us up at the bar. Great Friday night music, college turds that never get out of your way when you need them to, and the upstairs bartender who is out of this world. Who is she? I must know, because she took my breath away. Chris finally met back up with us and we then decide to head back to BBQ to get even more tipsy. Ending up losing my voice when we kept getting all of BBQ to "HEEEEEEEY" with us, it felt like we were at a soccer game somewhere in Europe with our pints held high in the air. Good times!!

So another memorable night logged into the memory. This one goes down as one of my favorites because of all the friendly faces that I saw last night, and all the great conversations that were had.

09:49 pm: I need a sign.
Ok, I can not decide if to go downtown tonight. Here I sit all dressed and ready to go, but Chris does not seem like he is able to make it. So I now wonder if I should take on the town by myself. What to do, what to do.

08:15 pm: I want to sit on the corner and just watch the cars go by.

But it seems to be heading that way already. I sure do not complain when I receive my paycheck. Cha-Ching!!!

So have I mentioned that the Felix da Housecat CD is so great? Can not get enough of the great beats and catchy lyrics. I really need to get a new CD player in my truck so I am able to enjoy the goodness there.

Not really up for the Secret Machines show tonight, way too tired to even get up and make some dinner. So it looks like another round of delivery from Papa Johns.

08:01 pm: Ahh the power of cheese.
Just purchased 2 new cd's from Park Ave.

1. Felix da Housecat- Modern new wave that is out of this world. It is like a dance party in a little package. Makes me want to bother the neighbors bellow with some of my own little dance moves.
2. Secret Machines- Not sure how to explain this cd, but I know I received a free ticket to their show at the Social this Wednesday. Maybe I will check it out, who knows.

So last night was one hell of a good time at the Back Booth. Show was awesome and I was able to hang out with people I have not hung out with in a long time. Great hugs and warm fuzzies. Good times were had by all and I must say that drinking alot on a Sunday night leads to a very long Monday. :( Oh and Mikey playing bass for My Hotel Year = AWESOME!!!

Does anybody know any good thrift stores that I can find some T-shirts? Of course I am not talking about the nasty ones you see all the time, but the cool ones that you do not always see. I am not having any luck so far. Yes the hunting is fun but it is getting old real quick.

01:39 pm: You gotta know when to hold them, know when to fold them...
Not much went on this weekend. So I involved myself with lots of computer time mixed in with a little television time. Tonight I think I will be attending the Rory CD release party at Back Booth. I have not been there since all the staff walked out, so I guess no more free drinks from Phil. But then again there is always the Lodge. :) So tonight I shall see what kind of trouble I can get into. Shoot, I may even make my way to Independent bar for some Sunday night 80's, but who knows.

I shall receive my check tomorrow that will have my very highly increased raise on it. I am very anxious to see how much it is going to be. Maybe a little shopping will be in my near future. I know one thing is that I need a new cd player in my truck, but I think that will wait until I purchase the new vehicle I have been having my eye on. This may be the first time in my life that I will have 2 vehicles at once. One for work and the other for play. One problem is finding a parking spot for both of them here since parking spots is such a pain.

11:14 pm: Hot Hot Heat is not just a band, it is my place.
OK, my air conditioning has to be broke, it takes so damn long for my place to cool off. THe A.C. in these apartments just plain suck! It also could be the computer monitor that is always on when I am home. I think I have an internet problem. Is there a group that I need to attend to fix my problem like I.A.A.? (Internet Addiction Anonymous)

I must say that I <3 the 90's show is very entertaining. The only thing is that I am losing interest when the show gets closer to 99. I have more of an interest in the early 90's than the later years. I was very happy to see that the Sony Playstation made tonights episode. I do agree that the Playstation took up a lot of my time, maybe too much.

I am now looking forward to Popcorn flicks tomorrow night. GOONIES BABY!! Lets just hope that the sound does not mess up again like it did a few months ago.

04:36 pm: PM Dawn, what the hell happened to them?
So yeah, I <3 the 90's was on last night and it totally rocked my ass!!! I still prefer I <3 the 80's, but this is right up there with the nostalgia factor.

Ahh the 90's, my first love, my first driving experience, my first (and only) blood donation that did not end very well. ;) Lets just say that some of my pearly whites were missing after that incident. My first car (1978 red station wagon Ford Pinto) That car was a beast, but I loved it anyhow. My first sexual experience, is it always something that you wish you could go back and redo because it was that bad? "Ok is this right? I put this thing on how? Shhh... I think my dad is home, Damnit. Nothing dad... we are just doing homework, Yeah I know that the door is locked. Goddamnit." I could go on with this list but I do not feel it is necessary. Let me just end saying that the 90's for me was one hell of a decade. I look forward to the next VH1 installment of I <3 the 00's, that should be a great one there. :)

I feel as if I need to clear things up. People who think I am somebody else need to realize that I am not him. So please look at the user info before commenting on my posts and adding me as a friend. No hard feelings, just want people to know that I am not who they think I am, I go by the name Bill.

10:41 pm: CRACK!! BOOOOM!!!!
So after lightning took out my modem on Sunday, I finally bought a new one today. Well it only took me three hours to install it. For some reason the driver would not properly install on my computer.

So to hell with the lighting here in this state. I think that the safety tips that Brandi posted should also list "Be sure to remove all phone lines from any computers in your household."
